Culmination of the Red River Resistance
Should this conflict be considered a rebellion or a resistance?
Political Cartoon Assignment:
Create a political cartoon or comic strip illustrating a significant event that contributed to the Red River Resistance. Then write a 500 word description of the illustration describing the context of the illustration--how the event illustrated fits into the Resistance as a whole, what are the preceding factors, and what are the results/consequences?
Important note: as this is a political cartoon, your illustration should make a comment on the event, a judgement, or some bias or perspective should be shown. The assignment is not simply to draw a picture of an event. Your opinion should be evident.
You will have a class and a half to work on it. It will be due on Tuesday, Feb. 26th.
Please see rubric so you know exactly what I will be looking for when I mark the assignments:

Also: for those of you who have not turned in your concept maps, they must be turned in by Friday so that the marks can be entered for this term.
